Scenario 1: Gateway data upload is normal, but RF disconnection issue occurs.
Step 1:
Check if the transmitter's LED is flashing periodically. If not, try powering it off and on again or resetting the transmitter. (The transmitter refers to the sensor)
Step 2:
If you have HP2550/2560, please go to the Sensor ID page on the console by manual. The Wi-Fi version is Easy Weather Pro, which can be accessed on below.
Go to the Sensors ID management page on the gateway to verify whether the ID matches the sensor's ID.
- If mismatched, try re-registering the transmitter or manually inputting the ID.
- Check the RF signal quality. If the signal is poor, adjust the transmitter's installation position.
Step 3:
Check if there is a new firmware update for the gateway. If available, update to the latest firmware and enable AFC (Automatic Frequency Control) to see if it improves the situation.
Step 4:
If other RF sensors under the gateway are receiving data normally, the issue might be with the specific sensor.
- If two or more sensors frequently disconnect (excluding issues caused by distance or low battery), the problem may be due to radio interference.
Scenario 2: No data upload from the gateway.
Step 1:
Observe the gateway's WiFi LED or ICON status:
- If the WiFi indicator is off or blinking rapidly, try reconfiguring the network.
- If the indicator blinks once per second, check the router's network connection and verify if any restrictions on the device's internet access exist.
Step 2:
Try powering the gateway off and on again. If the issue resolves, immediately check for and update to the latest firmware version.
